The total solar eclipse of Wednesday, 12 August 2026 begins in Spain around 19:30 local time (partial phase, mainland Spain, CEST). Totality is seen between 20:27 (Santander) and 20:33 (València), from Galicia to the Balearic Islands. The Sun sets still eclipsed around 21:20 in western Spain.
